Football Season

Football season begins August 1st, as determined by the NCYFL. Practice schedules are at the discretion of the head coaches. typical schedules include five days a week during the summer and 3 days a week once school begins. 

Age Requirements

Peewee - 6 to 8 years old

Midget (Freshmen) - 9 to 10 years old

Juniors - 11 to 12 years old

Game times and locations

Games are scheduled for Saturdays at home or at other locations off Island. 

Game locations are dependent on which division we qualify for each year within the NCYFL. Divisions may include Valley League or mountain League.

Game volunteer positions include:

   *Chain gang

   *Concessions and Barbecue operators

   *Field monitors

   *Scoreboard operators

   *Drivers

   *Snack parents

Coach and safety Information

We strive to provide the best safety measures for the children.

Each team contains a minimum of 1 First Aid, CPR and Concussion certified coach. Additionally, an on site EMT volunteer is at every game.
